How to import mxf files to Final Cut Pro X without bug?

An update to FCPX brings native MXF import, editing and export along with bug . Why FCP X not importing MXF files?It is well know that MMXF is a container file format, it can hold various different video codecs like DV, HDV, DNxHD, Prores, DVCPRO, MPEG-4, H.264, etc. After searching for Final Cut Pro X supported file formats, you may find that FCP X only has native support for MOV files encoded with Apple Prores, DV, HDV, H.264, DVCPRO HD, QuickTime codec. Therefore, you will fail mxf files to load them into FCP X. In addition, when you import some highly compressed codec such as H.264 used by Canon, Panasonic, Sony. Notes:

How to Convert and Import MXF Files into FCP X on Mac El Capitan?
Step 1: Load unsupported MXF files into the MXF Video Converter for Mac.
From “File” drop-down option, select “add Video/Audio” to add source MOV video files to the program.

Tips: On the main video displaying window, click the up and down arrow to rearrange the file order according to your own needs.

Step 2: Select output file format.
Click “Format”bar, from its drop-down list, select FCP X most favorable editing codec by following “Final Cut Pro” > “Apple Prores 422(*.mov)”, you can also choose other prores formats on your own needs.

Step 3: Edit MOV files.
Select an item on the main interface to active the “Editor” menu, then click the pencil like icon to open “Video Editor” Window, you can play and preview the original video and output effects. Also you can flip video, trim, add special effect, reset, and adjust volume.

Step 4: Convert MXF video to Apple Prores format.
Go back to the main interface and press the right-bottom “Convert”to start MXF video to Final Cut Pro Apple Prores encoding proces.
When the conversion is done, import converted video to FCP X for furthering professional editing.
