How to import IMX50 MXF videos to PPro CS6.0.1 with the best quality video and audio

I am having the problem to copy IMX50 MXF to PPro CS6.0.1. Audio plays, but no waveforms with any of the clips. Automatic peak file generation is ticked in preferences and all other files are generating AWF’s no problem at all. It’s just the MXF files that seem to be the problem. Thanks for the guys who provide ideas for me in the forum. I try this and that and here I would like to share my experience.

Below is a simple tutorial to convert IMX50 MXF files into PPro CS6.0.1 with audio.

Step1: Load MXF material to MXF Converter for Mac
Click “add video” or “add folder” to load multiple audio channels. You can also directly drag files to the program. The program supports batch conversion and allows you capture images.

Step2: select output format
Click “Format” drop-down list to locate all the profile; choose the “Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas -> MOV (AVC) (*.wmv) “. This option offers video profile optimized for NLE editing. You can also choose WMV and MPEG-2 or QuickTime MOV.

Step3: Set audio and video profile
You can click “Settings” to set up video size, frame rate, bitrates and other settings.

Step 4: Start Conversion
Click “Conversion” icon that the MXF Converter for Mac will import IMX50 MXF into PPro CS6.0.1 with audio. With just a click on “Open output folder”, you can locate the export MOV quickly.
