How to import Canon MXF to Final Cut Pro X from Canon C300

Question:
Doing a jog currently that has been shot with the Canon C300. All files were copied to a hard drive with folder structure intact. I’ve been importing the footage into FCP X with the MXF Canon Plugin and all is working perfectly. However one of the folders seems to have a corrupt INDEX.MIF file as it’s showing zero k as the file size. (normally 2.6 MB) So FCP X won’t allow me to import from this folder. I can open the MXF files with VLC and look at the footage but I’m stumped as how to fix this issue. Is there a way to convert the MXF movies into ProRes?
