How to Edit Canon C300 Mark ii 4k MXF in Final Cut Express on Mac?

A quick guide on how to transcode Canon C300/C300 Mark II MXF 4K video to AIC .mov for FCE

Step 1: Connect Canon C300, C300 Mark II to your computer and launch the Mac MXF video converter to import 1080i MXF or 4K MXF recordings to it.

a. Video and Audio are separate when it comes to MXF, but you do not need drop the Audio folder when loading .mxf files to the Canon MXF Converter, as the software will detect and find audio for corresponding video clips automatically.

Note: Before start the conversion, you’d better to deinterlace C300 1080i MXF files first.
